Fortification of Rice using Fortified Rice Kernels (FRK) has been mandated by Govt of India for all rice distributed in the public distribution systems across India. This is one of the many fortification initiatives undrertaken by Govt of India for addressing the malnutrition in large population of India. 

FRK addition required a well constituted FRK premix containing three important ingredients as a minimum requirement as per FSSAI regulation. Hexawel offers a stable and well balanced premix for FRK manufacturing with 3 ingredients of Iron, vitamin B12 and folic acid. Further Hexawel Healthcare is a FSSAI listed premix supplier for the supply of vitamin premix in India. 

At Hexawel we also offer premixes for fortification of wheat or other flours as per the recommended guidelines by FSSAI. This enables us to offer specific fortification premixes of vitamins and minerals in case of customized fortification initiatives undertaken by manufacturers.
